When viewed from the end of a wagon the two W-irons are parallel whereas other makes splay out.
Capable of taking a 14mm/3ft7 diameter wheelset.
Rather than waste space any unused part of the fret has been filled with screw couplings in the case of the BR units, and various solebar plates in the case of the RCH units.
