2834: LNER BRAKE PARTITION Bulkhead / partition - smaller, brake cross section. This component can be used in conjunction with (fixed flat to one side of) a full size partition, MJT 2833, to form the stepped transition between passenger and brake sections in passenger brake vehicles. The brake section in these vehicles was 6in narrower than the passenger section. It can also be used as a 'brake cross section' bulkhead and provides additional roof level support spars.
